The Porsche 997 brought back a classic 911 trademark with its return to round headlights, clearly distinguishing itself visually from its predecessor, the 996, and the Boxster. The wide rear wheel arches of the Carrera 4 models in particular were reminiscent of traditional „hips.“ Technically, the 997 remained close to its predecessor, but despite a moderate increase in power and slightly higher weight, it continued to offer the driving dynamics typical of Porsche.
